BUMP.....We are about 4 months out and have not seen any chatter about this. I'm in Michigan now but still plan on helping anyway I can. I'm hoping to be there also....Does anyone know if anything has been started yet ??? Give a holler, put me to work

Hey kristi, last I heard jewel was looking for someone to head the project up, I am not able to step up this year. I am not sure but believe we are to late for the special prizes for the show itself.

Hey Kristi, I spoke with Jewel saturday. She cannot help this year. So far no one has stepped up to help or started any planning that she knew of. Im still willing to help but it looks like this is not a priority to anyone this year.

its a shame, I know that it is alot of work, and it supports a really good cause ( rescue), it takes many hours of work to put it together, coordinate the details ect. I wonder if there are any other takers for the job??

I don't know which club but I thought Jewelled had mentioned having to be a member. I am not a member of any of the clubs.
My husband has already taken our camper to Georgia for hunting season. I will not be camping there this year.
I air be happy to help in any way though.

Too bad that we are too late for special prizes for the show, but lets go ahead and have the potluck and auction. Rescue needs us. I am willing to coordinate auction donations and post food requirements for lunch. So, here goes

A great day to help out the big ones close to our hearts, join us after the
dog show for our annual potluck and auction.
Items needed for auction, proceeds of auction will be donated to mastiff
rescue.
If you have an item that you would like to donate, p.m. me and I will give

Hi Kristi! I agree... I am willing to help too! I emailed Jewel and she was so nice to send me a list of things to be done.
We need to know if anyone will have an RV? Last year Sherri brought hers and it worked out great! We'll also have to reserve an area to have the picnic... email me so we can coordinate and then post on here so at least we sound like we know what we're doing... LOL
We will need a lot of volunteers!

I usually post a notice about the picnic on here and several other boards, for a picnic list, and a list of auction items, as well as the fame list and the ssmf list. I dont have the rv this year, and I am not sure if Marylou will have one or not. you have to contact the club and ask for permission to rope off an area for the picnic. start a new thread on the board here, and the others and keep bumping it.

I'd be willing to help, but I won't even know if I'm going until much closer to the dates of the show - like after it closes and the numbers are posted. 
If I DO go though, I will definitely throw myself into the fray and help out. I'll see if I have anything to auction that I can send (or bring) too.

Ok
I'll do a basket for a raffle. So far I have a Mastiff bed (Pier 1 papason cushion) one of those blue moving blankets, a neck wrap cooler and misc treats and chews.
I'll do more. I will also do a set of Mastiff themed ornaments for auction.
