This dog is convinced that he is beautiful and really is pleased to "allow" everyone to pet and hug him when he goes to Petco.  He hasn't met any human yet that he hasn't loved. If the pet store had a greeter like Wal-Mart does, Bear would be a shoe-in for that job. He also likes the buffet bar at Petco...it's nose level for him.

Nicci, That's not a bad idea....the blue vest. Bear does have a "vested" interest in Wal-mart and Sams both. Lots of his treats, food and toys come from the Walton's. There is not too much entertainment in a small town.

Kathleen, three weeks ago at the Vet Bear weighed 188. His new little brothers interest in the big red food bowl has peeked Bear's interest in eating. I'm guessing 200 now. We will be back for a weigh in at the vet next week.

Thanks, Kathy!  Our boys are almost the same age, I think.  Balou's birthday was in July.  Today is his first Anniversary of coming to live with us!!!! Woo Hoo!

Maureen, Bear eats all around the perimeter of the buffet table on the floor (like a Dyson vacuum cleaner)because people drop lots of goodies. If the checkers are real slow and the lines are real long, people like to give him some "freebies" just to watch him salivate and drool. On some visits to Petco, there is only one checker and lots of customers and he makes a real haul, snack wise.  The longer the checkout line, the more Bear enjoys his visit

Kathy, he's gorgeous.  It's a shame you never feed him.  ROFLOL.  So, has BigGun recently "discovered" the food bowl?  Angel will "dance" for her food.  And talk and, well you get the picture.  Gotta love Titan and Sampson.

What a handsome boy-my mastiff cross rescue looks alot like him--Big Huey weighs in at 220. What loveable Bears they are.

October 2 was Brandy's  13th birthday...She is fairly healthy and still able to stand and walk except when Bear and Biggun start playing their game  with each other of "you get the right flank and I'll get the left flank"....sort of like when our children were young and the twin boys would gang up on their sister. I think it's a boy thing, but we do usually keep Brandy well protected from the rough play.

Bear says"Thank ya, thank ya vera,vera much". I've been told that some days he looks about as porky as Elvis. Poor Bear, he's on a diet and it does not include P.B. and banana sandwiches. He will be delighted to pose some more later. At the moment he is getting some much needed beauty rest

 

In these pictures Bear is almost 18 months(206) and BigGun is almost 7 months(109)

With the exception of color, Bear and Tank's face are exactly the same. they could be twins

Bear is cheating on Missy Mouse...He looked in the toy box and couldn't find her so............decided any old toy would suffice.

Im going to agree that its in the genes. Tank does the exact same thing all the time. Though he's been having trouble lately with a 60 lb pirhanna trying to steal the toys out of his mouth nonstop.

My chief photographer is on xmas break and cant get to her comp to download so the best I can do are 3 week old pictures. These are Mr T. at 17.5 mo. and Duke at 11 weeks.

1. Tank sucking on his hummer, Duke too tired to steal it.

We need a bed big enough for 350 pounds of Mastiff............why do they try to make us share this sissified "Girlie Man" bed???  Big Boys...  Bear 18 months  old  and BigGun 7 months old.

These guys just really like to be close. They would do this even if they had a king size bed. When BigGun gets too annoying and too clingy, Bear at 207 pounds still tries to get under the knee hole of the computer desk. That used to be his "safe place"..... Now the only part of his body  he can get under the desk is his front legs and head.(LOL)

We have three tables on the lower floor that he could get under--of course none of them tall enough for a clean run through, but plenty of hiding space. That is so funny-she was doing that as a puppy but stopped about two months ago--I think when the I MAY BE the boss attitude set in. Hmmm right after the second heat--Big Miss Hottest Thing On The Block Syndrome!!!
