I was taken to this beach the other day while I'm in San Diego. It was wild!

The dogs have been allowed to roam off leash and you will see dogs surfing, swimming, playing and just having a great time.

What a joy to see all of these breeds just having fun with freedom!

Isn't it wonderful?! I love going to San Diego with my boys. There are several dog beaches in SD. We just went to Fiesta Island a few weeks ago. San Diego is very dog friendly... there are even a few dog-friendly bars

Fiesta Island -Fiesta Island Road  San Diego

We are also going to the Cardiff Dog Days of Summer in August: http://www.cardiffdogdaysofsummer.com

Here are Apollo & Hudson at Fiesta Island back in May.

Ocean City, NJ has a dog beach as well.  It may technically be a Margate property though, because it's located just before the bridge (near the fishing pier) leading into Ocean City.  The beach is huge and there are, in fact, dogs running and playing in the sand and surf.  Very cool.
