Since so many took the time to go to a Pet Parade they deserve the nice comments from the rest of us without interruption just like other nice pictures.  What fun and how nice to represent so many Mastiffs to the Public.

A bunch of us got together and hauled a bunch of Mastiffs into Santa Barbara for this event. WOW! Reportedly last year there were something like 16,000 dogs, it felt like it this year!

Megan was there with Hudson and Apollo, Kim with Justice and Adora, Candace with Calli, Cariston with Goliath, Breanne with her girl who's name I can't remember (sorry ), Laura from Stonehaven Mastiffs up in Oregon, who bred Kaia, Callie and Hudson flew in for the parade, and walked Marvin, and I had Kaia there as well.

Did I say WOW???? It was a lot of fun, but really a bit much, I am glad I went, but probably won't go again. The walk was long, ending at the beach, where they had pools set up for the dogs.

On the other hand, there were far too many flexi-leads for my taste, and the rest of what goes on with that.

That said, here are some pics! More are still coming in.
Megan's Apollo

Megan's Apollo & Hudson

Breanne & her girl Shasta (I think) with Kim & Hubby Tom and their girls Adora & Justcie in the background

Littermates Calli & Hudson goofing off. Bred by Laura Olsen of Stonehaven Mastiffs up in Oregon.

Cariston & Breanne (Cariston's boy is Libby Terror-Puppy's cousin from Mystery Mtn, and Breanne's girl is from Loren & Cynthis Boe of Nacimiento Mastiffs here in Ca.)

Goliath, Shasta & Hudson

Hudson, MY Man Marvin of course from Deb Pallone, and A bit of Kaia who was bred, and is co-owned with my friend Laura.

More Hudson, and Hudson with big "brother" Apollo and more of Hudson's family.

And last, but certainly not least Miss Calli, Hudson's littermate who is owned by Candace and her family in Lompoc, Ca.

Thank you Deb and Dixie for trying to save my thread. It means a lot to me.

Yes Dixie, those are wings on Hudson. The theme was supposed to be Wizzard of Oz. I can't remember the character name with the wings, but Apollo was supposed to be the Cowardly Lion, Adora the Wicked Witch, Breanne's girl Shasta (I think, sorry if I am wrong on the name here) the Tin Man, and I think Calli was supposed to be Dorothy, but that didn't last very long!

There were many, many Mastiffs there, in fact we pulled a young man and his Bullmastiff in from the crowd to walk with us.

It went very, very well, in spite of almost ALL of our Mastiffs being puppies, EVERYONE of them was well behaved, although true to form Marvin NEVER shut up the whole day lol! I gave him to my unsuspecting friend Laura who thought she was getting the good dog! Well behaved yes, quiet NOT!

Thanks for sharing these pics I really enjoyed looking at them. I especially like the pic of the two pups in the soft crate on wheels, they look so happy that made me happy.

That's my baby Hudson with his sister Calli in the rolling crate And Hudson was supposed to be a flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz hahaha!! The wings were the best I could do I was so proud of my boys. They walked VERY far, wore their costumes, and were so wonderful with all of the people and other dogs. Apollo drew lots of attention with his lion outfit... he even  gave the audience some fun and shook his slobber on them. I told them they were sitting in the "splash zone!" Even though he isn't the perfect Mastiff in conformation, he is the most wonderful boy I have ever met. He really gives good PR for this breed and I am proud that I am his momma

Megan,

Your boys are so well behaved I know it saved my butt! You put me to shame lol! Apollo is an amazing soul, he did such a great job, letting complete strangers love all over him.

http://www.onlyforpetlovers.com  has more pics of the entire parade, Hudson and Marvin are both on page 10. There was a Boston in an incredible costume who is up there as well. I don't know what he was supposed to be, but it was pretty cool.

Thanks to all of you for supporting me.

Hugs.

I certainly did a double take on that pic of the "clydesdale".  He sure as hell reminds me of someone.  Only thing is, he looks solid black and white, not brindle and white.
