Layla is such a good dog.  She has the patience of a saint...BUT, at 12 weeks, Dozer has stretched the limit on even her angelic disposition.  Most of the time things are just fine and if he gets too much in her face, she walks away...but today, she had it with his antics and sat on him!  It certainly stopped the shenanigans...

He's just had his 12 week birthday and was 40 lbs on Monday.  Such a fun puppy and really funny in one of his "furry flurry" zoomy fits.  Great day to everyone!

This makes me laugh at the memories of Maxine "pinning" our younger labs when they were pups and wouldn't "settle down"!  She was ever so gentle but firm and it worked way better than anything we ever could've done to calm things down!  Later on as the pup grew ...it was hilarious to see Maxine play bowing to get things started!

Things are certainly improving...Today was pool day.  Layla jumped right in the deep end with Chip and Lillie...Dozer tried out the water too.  First on the top step and then he went for a swimming lesson with Chip.  He enjoyed the ride on Chip until he felt comfortable then took a leap out into the water himself.  He did very well and kept coming in for a dip or to sit on the top step.

Layla, on the other hand, enjoyed "eating" the water gun squirts - she adores the water, swimming, the sprinkler or anything else where she can get soaked!  Summer fun for everyone!

Great photos! Love the pups and the pool! I'm so jealous of anyone with a pool right now...
