As you guys can see this is a list of the top 25 mastiffs in the country, many of you guys know Pilgrim,Darren and Darlene. They are great people with a great dog. Darren being a modest person wouldn't do something like this ....so i decided to do it for him.
Pilgrim is in the top 25. He has done it owner-handled,by Darren.Also they both have had limited showing. Darren's first show was just 8 mths ago. I just wanted to be the first to say Congrats,this is something to be very proud of.

I think it's great that you've done it by yourself Darren. I loved when that judge told you that he was "keen on your dog, but not too keen on you as the handler." You've got the best handling stories, like when Pilgrim left presents in the ring down at Bucks..., or when you and I look across the ring at each other to see who's sweating more profusely...
Huge, huge congrats to you and Darlene. You guys are a blast to hang out with at the shows and I'm proud of what you've done with Pilgrim.

HUGE congrats!!!!!! That's so awesome! I am totally in awe of owner handlers! And how smart was I to pick a "B" name kennel so I could be at the top of the alphabetical list, lol?! Balou's finally #1 on a list ha ha ha ha ha!

Derek--where did you get this list?
I have a feeling this may be an Eukanuba list since it is in alphabetical order and some of the dogs on the list aren't showing anymore. The calendar for Eukanuba rankings runs 0ct to Oct. So dogs that had big wins at the end of last season may still be on the list even tho they haven't shown this year.
But that aside--
Congrats Darren--see you are doing a better job than you thought!

Its actual right on the AKC website and yes it is The Eukanuba Invitational list. I always check that and The Canine Chronicle website for updates.
