The bank sign read 113° F today, it's supposed to be around 110 tomorrow ... The Drillers stadium is having their annual Bark in the Park tomorrow ... I don't even want to go out in this heat and I definitely wouldn't drag the kids and dogs out in it... I'm starting to wonder if I should even attend the IABCA show in a few weeks... We need some relief quick! Holy Cannoli Christin...that IS way too hot for a bark in the park day. Poor dogs, hope everyone is going to be ok. I'm so sick of the heat and humidity here in CT. I'm just north of Tulsa Oklahoma. I hope noone puts their pooches through that... mine are out for a potty break and come in panting like they just ran a mile... I just saw a pic on "owassoisms" Facebook page (Owasso is the town next to mine) of the bank sign reading 119° wtf!? I didn't even go out to check the mail today and the girls have only been out once for a potty break at 9am... If I wasn't so stir crazy I wouldn't attempt going to class tonight... I just can't pass up the opportunity for "me time"... our local humane society does a couple of fund raisers that make me wonder what they are thinking, falls on deaf ears. Coming up in a couple of weekends bark in the park, where you bring your dog to a minor league ball stadium during a game, temps in fla in august are 95-100 with the heat iindex even higher. Their other fundraiser paws at the pier, about a five hour fundraiser with contsts ect, in early sept, temps stll in the 90's, on the beach, on the pier. That's a shame. These events would be so much fun if held during decent weather.
