Hey everyone!  I've introduced myself in the new members thread.  I've been lurking and reading and whatnot.  I have a question though that I haven't really seen the answer to anywhere else.  I'll be getting my mastiff baby sometime in September.  I want to start buying supplies and what not now just to have on hand.  At 8 weeks...what is the average size of the necks on these little (big) cuties?  I know they'll grow quick so I'm gonna buy a couple different sizes so he has something to grow with but I don't want to buy too small.  Any suggestions on a size to start with?

I would start with 12-14 inches.. adjustable collars seem to be the best as they will grow an inch or so every week.. really fast.

We do not breed often, but we do our best to breed top quality mastiffs
with excellent pedigrees to back them up. All breedings are carefully planned to produce
the very best mastiffs, sound in both body and mind, beautiful and strong,
representing the true mastiff standard.

We fully test our dogs. We believe that a person that "just wants a pet" has a right
to own a beautiful, well bred dog that is sound and healthy
every bit as much as someone wanting a "show dog".

I agree about 12 inches, adjustable ones are the best for the growing pup.

At about 1.5 yr I started buying leather...now Im stuck on ROGZ collars. They are awesome and really inexpensive.

I was wondering if any one here ordered from Roman Dog Collars. I was not able to find a large collar for my  Mastiff that was all leather and at a reasonable price, so I bought one from Roman I thought they were much better priced than Oli collars who had bad reviews, they had this in XXL. I must say I am very very happy and its very durable and looks great! Please tell me what you think.

This is the collar I bought, here is the link for the large breed dog collars section.
If anyone has any other suggested collars please post since I want to buy another style.
