I'd like to have a thread to showcase good quality pups. I think it might help people new to the breed looking for a puppy form some ideas as to what a nice pup looks like.
Good bone, nice head and good angles, length etc.... all the rest can be left to the eyes of the beholder.
I thought to limit it to between 6 and 9 weeks because people looking for a puppy will usually be seeing them at this age ... and they change so fast.
A picture of Linda's pups inspired this idea so I'm starting with that picture.
What I like most about this picture is the good impression it's giving to their broad muzzles.

This is Justice at 8 weeks. She is a chunky little monkey for sure. I need to get her weight to update it but she was on pace with the English charts posted on the weight chart thread and looking lean to boot!

I think it is still hard to judge pups without knowing the lines. Different lines can grow so differently.
In the following pics of Teddy and Lola they appear to have dome heads and low ears for instance..but they are 16 mths now and have very square heads with ears set on the highest points of skull. Angulation has also changed quite significantly. Lola has a very pleasing muzzle piece and in particular -underjaw as she has grown up..a quality I value..but I would never have picked it as a puppy. They shape-shifted alot from 2 wks on!

Chunky junk yard mastiffs. I used to call them my junk yard dogs because they could rip up the play yard in nothing flat each day. They are five weeks here

Those are some of the nicest looking puppies I have ever seen.

One question. How do you keep your puppies in those pens? Mine broke out of the welping box many times. They were so curriuos about everything I could not keep them contained. I had many toys and climbing things for them.

I loved them though.

One of my favorites. We called this pup Scrappy Doo. He was the smallest pup in our Hummer X Mia litter at birth.

Wound up being quite a chunk by the time he hit 8 weeks.
