Good thread, Angie. My computer crashed last week but might be able to find some of my old "jowls and fangs" pictures tomorrow. I have some really scary ones of Bear and BigGun both., they look like real "running at you, floppy jowls and fangs pictures." LOL

What camera do you use to catch the jowl action. I have a digital, canon power shot A75 and I hate it. The shutter speed is so friggen slow that what you want to capture (grandkids and dogs) has moved by the time the picture is taken. Any suggestions for a quick shutter digital would greatly be appreciated!!

I make sure the dog is far enough away from me but not too far that when I call him and he comes running towards me I have time enough to take a few pics before he gets too close for the camera and there should be one good shot out of 3 say. Good luck, it's lots of fun when you get a good one.

No snow in this picture!
Ed cooling off under the sprinkler, he was jumping biting the water but I was too slow to get those pictures!
The date is wrong on the camera! it was aug this summer

Great picture of Ed....I think he really does justice to our silly breed in that picture. But you're going to need to get the camera out, get far away from him, get down a bit so you are level with him with the camera ready to shoot and call him to you and shoot, shoot, shoot - I bet you'll be very happy with the results

Mary,
sure live it up over there with your flat yard!!  We are getting it too just got about 3 inches in half an hour and did a dummy took Leo out to play.  Well, wouldn't you  know it was pure ice all the way down the hill under the snow-leash attached (to me) with the puppy bombing full speed towards the open gate to the school yard and the five year old attached to my other hand    ahhhhhhhhh!   we were like a runaway train.    He has just discovered snow and well I guess he has a love for sleds! all he could do was howl and whine in a worried voice at the sled and then dragged it around back and forth.   At the end of play time I debated how we were going to go back UP the hill to get in?????  guess what, he didn't want to go so we played tug of war UP the icy hill back into the house.  and I won.  so much for my never pulling him thing.            He is never going out again!              Cole looks like he had fun though

Jill  I am ROTFLMAO (but I sure feel for you)  I love cold weather, just would NOT be able to handle the snow OR the ice.  Yikes... are you ok?

I just got SUCH a visual on the dog, and the child and you playing tug-o-war in the snow!  Hope you are okay!!!

Mary... I love to watch snow, just can't walk or drive in it.     Once upon a time I lived in the Poconos and we would be at the slopes if we even THOUGHT there was going to be any fresh falling!   NOT anymore!

Current time and temp  1:00pm  78 degrees
