We were out of town during Mariska's second birthday (July 26th). Here are some new pictures of Mariska (Greesons Let Me Show Ude Waay) and lil sis, Maggie (Lazy D's Move With Me Magdalene). Maggie (8 1/2 months) is still very much a wiggle butt and plus it was still 95 out when we were stacking this evening. Enjoy!

Wow what beautiful redheads. I love the picture of the girls wrestling. It looks like the one on the bottoms is laughing.

So did Cole see his pinup picture--LOL--sending sweets for the sweet King!

Yes that is why we posted it. To me it looks like Maggie was tickling Mariska and Mariska is laughing about it.

Thanks for the nice comments Mary and Olga.

And for the HB wishes from Eilene--thanks!

Olga it depends what Genie I have come out of the bottle-lol-looks like this grandma needs to go have the gray roots covered again--nothing like a headshot to show the gray LOL.--The last time I went for dark underneath and lots of blonde highlights for summer, but I have been known to go red as well.

Susan,
The girls look fantastic. It is especially fun for me to see pictures of big sister Mariska, thank you! Was she always a deep apricot or did she have a period as a pup where she lightened up a bit? They are certainly beauties.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! We need to thank Linda and Maureen for Mariska and Nancy and Jimmy for Maggie--lots of hard work into making these sassy apricots!

Yes Gabi we need to do baseball again and not a game where we freeze our arses off while watching LOL, but it was great anyway! Then again with 115 today with the heat index I think I would take a cold game!

Kathy bought a ton of shit and I got a great Plant hanger out of an old horse train bar.  Kathy made a contact for getting the Long Horns cheaper --direct no middle man, Yippee, we can all have them.  I found Lamp jewelry and now am making a paper towel dispenser for the bath that has a painted cowgirl on it.

We had a great lunch, Kathy has a GPS and got lost finding Wal-Mart She can find one in every State she has ever been in, then accused me of trying to loose her on the the one street town.........no way she had the apples and jelly and applesauce in her vehicle.  We had a great time as usual!

Today Don and I were invited to the Sylvan Unified School. The second grade teacher has been reading Henry and Mudge books and Cameron, our 7 yr old grandson told the class about our mastiffs. So we took Big Huey, 6 1/2 yrs, 3/4 mastiff 1/4 german shepard and Mariska, Greesons Let Me Show Ude Waay, 2 yrs, to visit. The picture is of the second grade class but we were visited by 2/3 of the school. I don't know who enjoyed it more, us, the dogs or the kids.

Thanks Kathy and Mary. We did have a good time. The picture didn't turn out well of both dogs on their backs, having their tummies patted so we didn't save it. And of course the last picture one boy is pointing at Big Huey as that is the "It wasn't me" point, as Big Huey had to let one rip. It was good for lots of giggles and groans! Cameron is the boy up front with us, blue shirt and glasses.

I think every teacher in the school came out to meet the dogs, as well as most the students. The grade school, starting this year, is in the same buildings as the high school and junior high. We were there over an hour and the dogs just loved every minute of it.

Due to deteriorating health condition, Don and I made the decision to let Maggie go.

Rest in peace, Lazy D's Move With Me Magdalene, aka Maggie, our wild and crazy gal.

Susan and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. You are never prepared for the loss of one of these guys, but it is even worse when they are so young. She will be watching over you guys and running like the wild and crazy girl again.
