Why do they even have a price tag on him?  They should be concerned about finding him a great home...he so deserves it!

Perhaps they're trying to deter the "freebie folks" that will not have the resources necessary to give this pup what he needs.  FYI, a good friend of mine has a 3.5 legged female mastiff who's now 2.5 yrs old.  She was born with a deformed front ankle/foot that has required numerous surgeries (may involve more), physio, meds, constant and vigilant care, etc.  While she runs & plays like the wind and races up/downstairs with her pals, she has to be kept extra thin so no unnecessary weight is on the foot.  It's NOT a task anyone should take on without lots of thought.  If it was a back leg, it would be much easier to deal with for the dog & potential owners IMHO.

Poor little guy!

Perhaps if he had a name he'd be more adoptable.

May I suggest....Tripod!

Or, Tri-Pawd Steve

I would love to have him myself, but my husband says that I am at my four mastiff quota right now. I just think that he would have a better chance with an experienced mastiff person, that's why I posted him.

Thanks for looking everyone.

Whats sad to me...is these pics are taken through a fence. If he was so well taken care of...they couldnt get any pics of him not locked up?

Whenever I see pics of puppies in cages through the fence etc it really bugs me. Its like they don't actually play with them or socialize with them...the contast is through a fence. Looks like they really did a nice job with this pup...kept him to keep him in a cage? The first pic is sad...

I agree. I can't stand to see him in that little dog house. He should be on my couch instead of in a cage. He was born with such a disadvantage that he deserves to have everything good in the world now.

Thank you all so much for looking. This may have been what made someone take notice of him.
