Hi all. I have a question about DMSO. I know it's used for a ton of various things and it was recently suggested to me to put it on one of my girl's hygromas. She's young (a year old) and is NOTORIOUS for flopping down on her elbows. They aren't calloused, just look like tennis balls on her elbows. First, do you guys think it will help and second, any other suggestion? I bought the "dog leggs" for her, but she and her partners in crime promptly ate them (literally).

Of course, it's controversial and some Doctors are very much against it. It's very inexpensive and you don't need a RX for it.
It works great for a number of things. I've used it for my dogs, for injuries, swellings. I used it myself and it is wonderful.
You can get it in any feed store. Buy the purest you can find. Just be sure to use gloves (plastic or latex) when applying. It is absorbed through the skin. It's strange when you use it yourself you'll get a taste of garlic in your mouth.
